When you were a kid you could get a wrapped present that's bigger than you and the surprise is magical. After you get to be big kid sized you don't get that sensation. What if you saw a present as big as you now? What would you think it was?
As I dragged this giant gift wrapped box to harvard square, the realists thought "definitely a refrigerator". Those anticipating the performance art wondered "how many people are in there?". The college kids waited for a stripper, and when it never came it was a dead stripper. The romantics thought "It's an engagement ring", "somebody must be in love". The hams insisted it was both their birthday and being delivered to them. And the children who didn't know what to do but look at the skyscraper of a present and give it a big hug.
